Committees and Volunteers

The Valley Cultural Center committee volunteers make a vital contribution to the fulfillment of our mission and our ability to bring quality arts and culture to our community. Volunteerism also provides an opportunity for personal growth and a chance to give back. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us by email at info@valleycultural.org or call (818) 704-1358. Please see the VCC Volunteer Application (PDF 97KB) for more information.

Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Committee promotes music and arts enrichment activities for children and senior citizens and develops partnerships with other like-minded arts and educational institutions. The Community Outreach Committee plans, promotes, and manages the VCC's Arts on the Move projects, including Dance on the Move. The Committee also runs contests for children such as the Poster Arts Contest that awards prizes and increases public awareness of emerging local artists. The Committee also coordinates the VCC's Scholarships & Awards, including our Music Competition. The Committee works with the Concert Committee on the Monday Morning Concerts for Children at The Madrid as well concerts by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
