Grateful Hearts
Presented by: Douglas Emmett and Valley Cultural Center
On October 19, 2006, the community gathered with Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa to show its gratitude to our men and women of the Los Angels Fire Department from all around the Valley. Grateful Hearts was attended by over 4,000 people and raised $62,000 in 2006 for our local fire stations shortly after the Bell Canyon fire. Councilman Dennis P. Zine will also be on hand as our silent auctioneer.

The event consists of a food faire, featuring many of the finest restaurants from the Woodland Hills Canoga Park and Calabasas areas. Guests are able to sample tastes from these restaurants along with steaks, ribs, chicken and hot dogs prepared by firefighters on the "Mother-Of-All-Barbeques."

To find out more about how you can participate or sponsor this wonderful event, please call 818-593-6177, and a committee member will contact you.
