Westfield

Poster Art Contest (Sponsored by Westfield)
In keeping with our tradition of encouraging youth to pursue creative and educational goals, The Valley Cultural Center's annual Poster Art Contest invites students to gain increased understanding and respect for the multi-cultural community that represents the many families residing in the San Fernando Valley.

The 2008 theme 'A Mosaic of Music' encourages classroom discussion of the cultures that make up the "mosaic' of each school and weaves the contest into a theme of cultural respect and understanding through music. The contest is open to middle and high school students in the San Fernando Valley and collaboration with the schools and teachers who participate.

  • 1st place winner to receive - $1,000
  • 2nd place winner to receive - $750
