The Who Generation – Tribute to The Who
Sunday, August 6 | 6:00 PM
The Who Generation is an amazing tribute to the British rock band The Who, recreating visually and sonically the magic of the original band. The group was featured on AXS-TV’s “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.” Two of the members have also performed with, and for The Who’s Roger Daltrey.
The Who has sold over 100 million records, with 27 Top Forty Singles including “My Generation,” “I Can’t Explain,” “I Can See For Miles,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Baba O’ Riley,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” “Pinball Wizard,” “See Me, Feel Me/Listening To You,” “Join Together,” and more, 17 Top Ten Albums, 18 Gold, 12 Platinum, and 5 Multi-Platinum album awards in the United States alone. As originators of the “Rock Opera,” notably Tommy and Quadrophenia, both of which were made into major motion pictures, award-winning plays, and produced hit singles, no other band has accomplished such a musical, artistic feat.
With Larry Hampton as “Pete Townshend”, Rolly DeVore as “Keith Moon”, Stephen Shareaux as “Roger Daltrey”, and Brian Paulson as “John Entwistle,” you can’t help but enjoy the timeless music of The Who.
“The audience was swept up in the moment, singing along at the top of their lungs, and dancing to the beat. The chemistry in the room was palpable, and made each person feel like they were actually at a concert for The Who.” –Examiner.com
