Where Arts Meet Business

  • Established in 1975 to provide free concerts and entertainment to San Fernando Valley and neighboring communities.
  • It is one of the largest 501 (c) (3) non-profit arts organizations in Southern California. We are actively involved with other non-profit organizations in our common goal of enriching lives and building upon the fabric that bonds a community together.
  • All of our programs are offered to the community free of charge so that all can enjoy these wonderful events, regardless of their means
  • Throughout our 45 year existence VCF has reached an estimated 3.0 million individuals
  • Are economic impact on the communities is in excess of $4.2 million dollars
  • 75% of our funding comes from individual donors and corporations

Valley Cultural Foundation Programs

  • Concerts on the Green – the cornerstone of the organization, summer musical programs that draw and average of 6,500 individuals each Sunday during the summer months
  • July 4th Extravaganza – One of the largest 4th of July fireworks show in Southern California. With more than 60,000 people turn out for our Birthday party for America, which includes a concert and fireworks spectacular
  • NoHo Summer Nights -Valley Cultural Foundation in conjunction with Department of Cultural Affairs Los Angeles and Council District 2 presents eight (8) concerts in North Hollywood on Saturday evenings during the months of June, July and August
  • Arts on the Move is our newest program that includes:
    • The Children’s Performance Series programming introduces children from kindergarten through sixth grade to the arts. These free one hour “edutainment” programs ore seen throughout the valley and features; music, puppetry, poetry reading, dance, acting, opera along with other variety act.
    • Shakespeare on the Green is proud to partner with community Shakespeare companies to present at least one performance per season at Warner Ranch Park.
    • Scholarships/support for school arts programs. Working with the arts programs at a number of schools throughout the Valley, VCF provides program scholarship money to these programs or production assistance.
    • VCF works with Emerging Artists to perform their original work as opening act for our concerts programs. It is our goal to provide up and coming artists with a professional, established venue in which to play, promote and refine their talents, while cultivating new talent for other VCF programs.
